Located on the edge of the pretty Kentish village of Goudhurst, this is the place to stay if you want to be within easy reach of a number of the top attractions in Kent or to simply relax during the day and light a campfire and gaze up at the starry sky at night.
Great activities / places of interest within walking distance
For mountain bikers, the campsite could not be better placed: Bedgebury Pinetum, one of the south-east’s leading mountain biking centres, is within very close proximity either by car or on two wheels. We can provide secure storage for mountain bikes.
In addition to mountain biking, there are miles of footpaths; thrills galore with ‘Go Ape’ and fun and innovative play areas for the younger members of the family.
Great activities / places of interest a little further afield
Bewl Water is only a few miles away and is the south-east’s largest reservoir. There is lots to do both on and off the water including sailing, leisurely boat rides, children’s play area and an on-site restaurant, as well as high energy activities with ‘Treejumpers’.
The fabulous location means that you will be able to reach several stunning castles and country houses all within 15 minutes by car; these include Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst Castle & Garden, Finchcocks and Pashley Manor.
The Georgian spa town of Tunbridge Wells is only 10 miles away and has all you need in terms of sophisticated boutiques and high street shops as well as some tempting places to eat and drink.

Through out the summer special activities are put on by the local attractions, which could include medieval re-enactments, falconry displays or children's tea parties.
Travel to our campsite using public transport
From London take the train to Paddock Wood in Kent. It is then a taxi ride to the campsite.
