Family CampingCamping is the type of holiday which is just brilliant for families. For the parents involved there is no doubt that the organisation and packing can take a bit of doing but once you have set up your tent then, no matter how basic the campsite, you have a ready made playground for children and a whole new environment for them to explore. Just the very fact of being outdoors and sleeping in a tent is a real adventure, let alone all the opportunities for exploration and the chance for imaginations to run wild. At Campingninja we know that most campsites are family friendly which is great. But this also means there is so much choice for families it is difficult to find the campsite which is right for you AND with availability!What you need to consider is whether you want a site with lots of facilities or something a bit less organised. Do you want to go back to nature and cook over a campfire / camping stove or would you rather skip the girl guide / boy scout stuff and settle in at the site's cafe or restaurant. 
Aside from the actual campsite it's important to know what there is to do in the surrounding area - access to family cycling; walking, horse-riding; surfing; national parks; theme parks - think about what you are into, then find the right campsite. You can filter on all of the above. Likewise important things such as recycling facilities, local produce on sale and Green awards.
These days the choice of campsites is almost limitless. There are campsites bringing you back to nature and allowing campfires. 
Never again should you hear those words, "I'm bored"!
