Cardigan and its surrounding countryside is an unspoilt and largely undiscovered area of outstanding natural beauty. There are dramatic cliff-top paths with views of extraordinary rock formations and stunning wildlife, tranquil walks in deeply wooded valleys and challenging climbs in the Preseli hills.
So why not discover it at Cardigan Coast Walks Festival - free guided walks will discover the coast, the River Teifi, the Preseli Hills, and the hinterland around Cardigan. Plus new for 2011, is that the Festival has been extended to include walks in and around Aberystwyth and the whole of the Ceredigion Coastal Path.
Over the course of the festival there will be walks of varying demand and challenge, from a 3-4 mile ‘stroll’ up to 12-13 mile expeditions.
All walks will have leaders and support, and those that start or finish away from Cardigan will have transport available.
