Attracting players from around 20 different countries each year, the World Conker Championships take place in a picturesque corner of Northamptonshire, near the ancient market town of Oundle. 

It is best to arrive early for this thrilling sporting event as there is plenty to see and do before the conker games begin.  Including live music, dancing, more than 50 stalls, a bouncy castle, beer tent and traditional fairground rides, the World Conker Championships is an enjoyable day out for the whole family.
 
If you’re camping nearby and lucky enough to pitch your tent under a horse chestnut tree, then you could even have a game of conkers yourself!
