One for the culture vultures - Buxton Festival is a feast of opera, music and literature, in the beautiful surroundings of the Peak District.
This year’s highlights include a new staging of the opera Mignon, talks by Dame Ellen MacArthur and Joanna Lumley, a selection of live world music performances and Tarka the Otter, the Opera! There are also guided walks in the surrounding countryside.
