Blog Pic Cardiff Bay is the place to be once again this August Bank Holiday weekend as the Harbour Festival returns for another year.

The free event features the spectacular Breitling Wing Walkers who will be flying high over Cardiff Bay, Tall Ships, a superb continental market selling a large array of produce from all over the world, sea shanty singers, comedy walkabouts, fairground rides and music.

The British Fish Craft Championships will take place on the Sunday, with Britain’s top fishmongers showing off their speed, skill and accuracy as they compete for the ever so fishy title of British Fish Craft Champion.

Especially for children, the alternative end of the pier attraction, named the Last Resort, will return to the festival this year, complete with a sand pit, beach huts, hilarious shows and other attractions and is also the place to be to enter the popular best dressed pirate and sea creature competition!

There are some lovely campsites available to book nearby within easy reach of the Cardiff Harbour Festival, so why not make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend and book yourself a camping trip to Wales?
