It's all about speed at Coniston Power Boat Records Week.  It is the only event in the Powerboat Racing Calendar to bring together all classes of boats, from tiny hydroplanes, to inshore circuit racers and the largest offshore boats.
 
In the finale to the racing season, competitors and officials from all over the country assemble annually for this popular event at Coniston Water, and visitors are most welcome to come along and watch the record attempts.

Slow down after the races at a campsite nearby and relax amongst the spectacular mountainous Lake District scenery for some cool Cumbrian camping.
