Make a weekend of the fiesta and come and discover how and why this incredible structure was built 75 metres above the Avon Gorge 140 years ago. Discover why the bridge design changed so many times, how daredevil bridge builders managed to get the suspension chains from one side to the other and how it is maintained today at the Clifton Bridge Visitor Centre. And as a special one off pick up the “Fiesta trail” to celebrate 35 years of the biggest annual ballooning event in Europe!

During the fiesta the Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre will be open at the following times:

However, the Bridge will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians from:

6pm – midnight on Thursday 8th and Saturday 10th August.
