Welcome to the fourth Bathing Beauties Festival, celebrating the unique beauty, culture, architecture and history of the Lincolnshire coast. The Bathing Beauties Festival is ‘The longest Linear Coastal Arts Festival’ in the world.

The Bathing Beauties Festival will fill the beach and the beach huts of Mablethorpe, Sutton On Sea and Sandilands with a wild assortment of artistic splendour. Music, poetry, fire, performances, film and drama. There will be something for everyone...

Belchford Downhill Challenge is a soapbox cart race, also known as gravity racing and downhill racing. It takes place in the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The 9th Belchford Downhill Challenge will take place on Furlongs Lane, Belchford on September the 19th, 2010. Special feature this year will be gravity sidecars!!

The Conwy Honey Fair in North Wales dates back more than 700 years to the reign of King Edward 1st, when local beekeepers were first given the right to sell honey within the walls of the North Wales town, every September 13th, from midnight to midnight, without charge.

So why not give it a try this year - Set in the World Heritage site of Conwy up and down Conwy High Street and Lancaster Square local beekeepers, and other local producers, sell their wares.

The 2nd Tuesday of September is always 'Fair day' at Widecombe-in-the-moor. A true celebration of moorland life with lots for visitors and locals alike. Bale tossing your cup of tea? What about tug-of-war? Beautiful local produce? Parades, music and local competitions make this a great day out.

Surfers from all over the world come to experience this natural phenomenon. A tide starting in the Atlantic Ocean, enters the Bristol channel, forcing its way up the Severn Estuary causing a bore of up to 15 metres high over a distance of approximately 25 miles between Gloucester and Awre.

The Animal Windfest event is held annually at Sandbanks, Poole and is the only free daytime beach sports festival in the UK, with three nights of ticketed evening parties. Windfest attracts the biggest names in the extreme sports industry and at least 10,000 visitors each year. Activities include Red Bull Matadors (air display), Ultimate Beach Frisbee, Surf Ski racing, Stand Up Paddle boarding and Beach Volleyball.

Other features throughout the two days include professional kitesurfing and windsurfing competitions, as well as free have-a-go trial opportunities for amateurs, fun slalom racing, Animal Bike Show, King Ramps’ skate ramp sponsored by Red Bull, wakeboarding slider pools, equipment demos and full Kids Zone with live acoustic music.
