Campsite Description

Campsite overview

Chafford Park is on the Kent and Sussex boarders. Situated in a beautiful setting between Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead, well off the road in a valley, with stunning countryside as far as the eye can see.
This is a working farm and has 300 acres of arable land.
Chafford has been in the same family for over a 100 years.
The campsite is situated in a quiet setting with the lovely aroma of hay fields and a bluebell wood behind the park and surrounded by golden corn fields.

Large: £39 ( 8 rashes rare breed bacon, 8 rare breed breakfast sausages, 1/2 dozen free range eggs, ring of Sussex black pudding, 2 whole locally smoked kippers, seasonal fruit, vine tomatoes, field mushrooms,1 litre of local apple juice, 1 litre of local milk

Vegetarian breakfast box: £21 ( local fruit organic smoothie, local Greek style yogurt, seasonal fruit, vine tomatoes, field mushrooms, 1/2 dozen free range eggs, handmade artisan loaf

Deli box: £31 Sussex artisan baguette, a selection of 4 local cheeses, 2 handmade rare breed scotch eggs, handmade rare breed pork pie

BBQ box: £33 (4 minted lamb koftas,6 rare breed sausages, 4 Sussex beef burgers,2 large Sussex rump steaks

Great activities / places of interest within walking distance

Royal Tunbridge Wells is famous for its water and is a very elegant town with lovely shops and restaurants; visit the farmers market on the weekends.

The neighbouring villages are stepped in history with Penshurst Place on our doorstep where they have a gift shop and many fairs and shows during the year. The public houses in the area are, The Spotted Dog,Penshurst,The George and Dragon, Speldhurst, The Bottle House, Penshurst, The Rock, Chiddingstone.
In Langton there is a very good farm shop selling all organic produce all locally grown.
Hever Castle is a few miles away, also Groombridge Place which has a interesting history and is associated with Chafford House from the 18th century, they have a tea room, shop, and lovely adventure walks around this beautiful setting, they also have many events during the year, Falconry, Working Horse Trust, and many more.
