Campsite overview

Gundrys Farm is a small friendly family run campsite situated in the glorious Dorset, New Forest borders. Flat level beautifully maintained site ideal for tents, caravans and motorhomes, quiet and peaceful rural site teeming with bird life.Only 20 minutes woodland/bridle path walk to the glorious Moors Valley Country park - fishing, nature trails, Go Ape and many more activities.

The facilities comprise shower block ( no charge ) 2 toilet blocks with seperate ladies and gents, hot water washing up facilities, battery charging, ice pack freezing, chemical disposal point, fresh water, electric hookups, dedicated dog walk and very spacious pitches. We are a working farm so dogs although welcome must be kept on a lead at all times.

Great activities / places of interest within walking distance

Moors Valley country park - within walking distance ( off road)

Good pubs and restaurants within easy distance. New Forest literally only 10 minutes away, with deer, wild ponies and donkeys. Owl sanctuary 10 minutes away.

Closer to home the market towns of Ringwood and Wimborne, steeped in history, always a friendly welcome in the pubs and restaurants.

Supermarkets near are Tescos, Waitrose, Sainsburys and Morrisons. There a re a few local late-night shops too.

Great activities / places of interest a little further afield

Cathedral city of Salisbury - see Salisbury Cathedral and other sites of historic interest, markets held there each tuesday.

Bournemouth is great for beaches, seaside experience, restuarants, cinema, theatre and pier entertainments. There are a good variety of shops: Castle Point is huge out of town shopping centre with Marks and Spencers, Next etc.

Poole 2nd largest natural harbour in the world, stunningly beautiful views, fishing expeditions, Brownsea Island trips. going on the Sandbanks with miles and miles of sandy beaches and some of the most expensive properties in the world !
