Campsite overview
Lochranza Campsite is set in majestic surroundings at the north end of the beautiful yet easily accessible Isle of Arran on Scotland's west coast. Wild red deer roam the campsite and golden eagles soar overhead. The campsite makes a comfortable base for an Isle of Arran holiday with comfortable and clean facilities. All hot water is included in the fees. Hard standings and level pitches are available.Visitors will find lots of ideas about where to go and what to see in the campers' room, including many walks and cycle rides for all abilities that begin right at the campsite gate. Visitors who would like to play golf can take up special offers on the campsite's own golf course. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is a small shop and restaurant adjacent to the campsite. Lochranza village itself has a Medieval Castle, the Isle of Arran Distillery and the Lochranza Hotel selling excellent bar meals. The campsite also makes an inspirational beginning or a grand finale to a tour of Scottish Highlands and Islands, with regular ferry sailings going to Kintyre from Lochranza Pier.
