Campsite overview
The Match Day Centre in Walthamstow is only a 20 minute bus ride from the Olympic Park and is easily accessible to Central London. It offers a fantastic green space with excellent facilities. Match Day works with the Wadham Lodge Charity Trust to provide football, bowling and indoor recreational facilities at little or no cost to the community and will be utilising its grass pitches this summer to offer great value camping. The centre is home to 7 football teams of all ages and provides access to highly qualified coaches and technically trained staff, so it’s a haven for grass roots talent!

Richard Hipkiss, Match Day, comments, “We have done an awful lot at the Wadham lodge sports ground but there is still long way to go, and our continued commitment to the community will gain greatly from the money we will raise through the project. Just one of the many projects we hope to continue to run is our free after schools club for local children, very popular with kids, parents, local residents and the police supporting positive activity - keeping children fit, healthy and out of mischief!”
SITE OPEN FROM MONDAY 16TH JULY - SUNDAY 12TH AUGUST
We limit the tent size on our grass pitches to 4mx4m, or an equivalent of 16m² or less. Alternatively you can pay an extra £5 per night for a larger tent.
We also have Pre-erected tents available to rent. These tents are set up and ready for your arrival. Please note that sleeping bags and mattresses are not provided. Just the tent.
