Campsite overview

Small 5 pitch Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site with hideaway status on a small farm midway between Rhayader and Llanidloes.

Great activities / places of interest within walking distance

Superb walking and cycling from the gate on lanes and tracks. Glyndwrs Way and the Wye Valley Walk both pass close by.
Gilfach Nature Reserve.
Abbeycwmhir - abbey ruins, interesting and unusual church and Abbeycwmhir Hall and gardens.

Great activities / places of interest a little further afield

Elan Valley dams and visitor centre.
Market towns of Rhayader and Llanidloes.
Coast at Aberystwyth.
Center for Alternative Technology and the Glyndwr Centre at Machynlyth.
Hereford with its cider museum, cathedral and Mappa Mundi.
