Campsite overview
Porthclais Farm Campsite situated a mile outside of St Davids in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a small family run campsite catering for caravaners and campers, open from Easter to the end of October, with the most beautiful sea views. It is bordered to the south by the cliff path and St Brides Bay and to the west by Porthclais Harbour where small boats can be launched.
The campsite covers a large area: 24 acres are available for tents and one field of 5 acres is licensed for 12 touring caravans. The campsite is flat and well-drained and ideal for camping. Another field of 4 acres will be available this year for August Bank Holiday and High Season.
Great activities / places of interest within walking distance
The campsite is a stone's throw from sandy beaches including, Whitesands, a blue flag standard beach manned by lifeguards. For walkers there is also direct access onto the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
St Davids, the smallest City in the UK, is quintessentially Welsh and boasts a small selection of local shops and pubs in the town centre, which is only a 20 minute walk from the campsite. Along the coast there is a wide range of outdoor activities to enjoy including coast Steering, Kayaking, surfing and climbing. There are also a number of organisations running whale and dolphin watching trips in spectacular waters and bird lovers in particularly can also take the opportunity to visit Ramsay Island.
