Campsite Description

Campsite overview

Fabulously located very nearby historic Ely and the beautiful River Cam, our caravan and camping park is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing break. We are a family run site and pride ourselves on our warm welcome. We have great facilities and a play area for children making us a great place to stay for families, couples and groups alike.

Great activities / places of interest within walking distance

2 miles south of the historic cathedral city of Ely - definitely worth a walk! Ely is home to some fine monastic buildings, Oliver Cromwell's house and many other places of interest.

There is also a great family leisure centre nearby if it does happen to rain as well as a bowling alley.

Nearby we also have a golf course, and access to angling and boating on the River Cam.

Great activities / places of interest a little further afield

The famous University City of Cambridge is only a 20 minute drive away and has plenty to see and do including visits to Kings College Chapel, The Backs, The Bridge of Sighs, many museums, Botanical gardens etc. There is also a busy shopping centre, plenty of eating places, entertainments and sporting facilities.

Also nearby: The Stained Glass Museum; The South Triforium; Wicken Fen; Mepal Outdoor Centre;

Newmarket is also only a 20 minute drive and is Home of National Stu. It is a pretty market town with many pubs, inns and hotels and even a nightclub if you fancy it! They also have the Racing Museum as well as a market every Tuesday.
