Campsite overview

A small 5 star holiday park offering peace and tranquillity. It is set in beautiful countryside and makes a great base for exploring Dartmoor and both Devon and Cornwall as it is right on the borders. Also a great place to pamper yourself with fresh bread, croissants and pain au chocolat baked daily in our shop, which you can then work off in our indoor heated pool, spa and infrared therapy cabin.
We're proud at Woodovis Park to be Devon’s Holiday Park of the Year 2010!

Great activities / places of interest within walking distance

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Devon/Cornwall border - Woodovis is a tranquil haven with a wealth of activities on its doorstep.

Enjoy getting active with the indoor heated swimming pool, spa and infrared therapy sauna or go hiking, biking or tree-surfing all very closeby.

Tamar Trails and Tree Surfing are in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just a short walk away. We can arrange for hire bikes to be brought to the park for you.

Great activities / places of interest a little further afield

Dartmoor is great to explore on foot or cycle The Granite Way. Canoe on the River Tamar with guided trips from Cotehele to Calstock. A whole host of places to visit include National Trust properties galore, The Eden Project and a day to the beach is a must!

Local events / what's on near us

There is a great wealth of country shows, county fairs and village fetes right throughout the season. Tavistock has a food festival each year whilst Plymouth has the annual National Firewords Championships each August too.

Green Initiatives

Green Inititatives
We're always doing things to improve our sustainability. Members of the David Bellamy Conservation Scheme and the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Solar heating in our swimming pool, bore hole water, recycling everything where possible and environmentally friendly products used for cleaning. Light sensors, movement sensors, even our infrared therapy sauna uses a fraction of the power of a conventional sauna. Always trying to reduce our carbon footprint.
